On 12 October 2020 we installed the first prototype of our temperature display unit for refrigerated transport applications. The unit is running on a vocational truck that is sensitive to temperature variations and require constant monitoring. The new unit is aimed at replacing units that have been installed on the vehicle since their commissioning and that have deteriorated over time. With increasing maintenance costs and an LCD that is failing and barely legible these where the perfect candidates for our beta testing.

The display unit is located on the dashboard above the thermal printer unit, giving the driver a clear view of whats going on with his precious payload. The unit rounds off the display to the nearest 0.5°C to reduce noise on the display.
